[phpBB Debug] PHP Notice: in file /viewtopic.php on line 981: date(): It is not safe to rely on the system's timezone settings. You are *required* to use the date.timezone setting or the date_default_timezone_set() function. In case you used any of those methods and you are still getting this warning, you most likely misspelled the timezone identifier. We selected 'UTC' for 'UTC/0.0/no DST' instead

[solved] New Forum = Great Idea

I think having a forum is much better than blog-commenting as it reduces the workload for the original developer.

I hope I'm not going to regret starting this forum! I'm still getting to grips with the oddities of phpBB3 so expect a few mistakes on my part.

Good idea, hopefully this will be less work for you as folks can search previous queries.

The upkeep of forums becomes a pain eventually as the insecurities of phpBB begin to show themselves and the spammers try to get a foothold. Good luck!

PS Your site logo at styles/prosilver/imageset/site_logo.gif appears not to exist?? At least it doesn't display for me.

I'm going to certainly stay on top of phpBB updates and I hear that the Captcha system in phpBB can be quite good at thwarting all but the most determined bots/drones. I've set the Catcha to be quite easy to read for now. Will make it harder the minute spam starts to arrive!

Thanks for the logo tip - I'll now have to create a logo :-) The style is set to change in the coming few days. I've only just got phpBB functionally tested and working as desired at this time.
