Drop a URL into a Quick Launch shortcut

Postby LFB » 09 Mar 2010 14:31

Hi there, just a quicky.

I've googled for this and I should really remember how todo it, but, what I'm after is to make a quick launch shortcut for get_iplayer but can't seem to get the varibles at the end of the command line 'Target' right for when I drop a URL into it.

IIRC it's usually something like so -

Code: Select all
C:\WINDOWS\system32\cmd.exe /k get_iplayer.cmd "$"

I know I should stop been soooo lazy and have more patience and try moving the inverted comma's a bit, but thought it's not a bad idea to share for all the people who don't like the command line too much ;-)

Anyways, thanks for your great program and any help would be mucho appreciated :-D
