The same error occurred at 27.9%, 41.9%, 56.2%, 70.4%, 83.9%, and 97.9%. The
ERROR: HandleCtrl: Ignoring SWFVerification request, no CRYPTO support!
line also occurred at the beginning. After each error the download seems to have resumed correctly and was finally complete. The downloaded file plays fine in VLC.

I've had the same problem. I don't know what causes it (perhaps antivirus interfering with the downloaded data?) but the resulting file seems fine. :)

Seems that the BBC have switched on SWF Verification on their CDN's servers. Seems not to be a big problem at the moment as you say though. flvstreamer does not support that - only rtmpdump supports this AFAIK.
